    answer:

Hello. the best way to go about building an Earth-based Deck is using what is known as a Rat Toolbox, or "Ratbox", as its more commonly called, Here's an exapmle.

    MONSTERS: 23
    3 Giant Rat
    1 Red Gadget
    1 Yellow Gadget
    1 Green Gadget
    2 Ancient Gear Beast
    1 Morphing Jar
    1 Card Trooper
    3 Berserk Gorilla
    1 Green Baboon
    3 Gigantes
    1 Marauding Captain
    1 Mystic Swordsman LV 2
    2 Blade Rabbit
    1 Snipe Hunter
    1 Breaker The Magical Warrior

    SPELLS: 12
    2 Foolish Burial
    1 Card Destruction
    1 Monster Reborn
    1 Mystical Space Typhoon
    1 Heavy Storm
    1 Pot of Avarice
    1 D.D. Reincarnation
    1 Reinforcement of The Army
    1 Nobleman of Crossout
    2 Book of Moon

    TRAPS: 6
    1 Mirror Force
    1 Torrential Tribute
    1 Trap Dustshoot
    3 Sakuretsu Armor

    Side Deck: 15
    1 Marshmallon
    1 Sangan
    3 Solemn Judgment
    2 Bottomless Trap Hole
    1 Prime Material Dragon
    2 Shrink
    2 Lightning Vortex
    3 DarkWorld Dealings

This is a version of Rat Toolbox I played sometime after Card Trooper was restricted. I have modified it according to the new Forbidden and Limited Lists, which were posted on the Yugioh website today.

The first thing you'll notice is that I've put in only one set of gadgets. The reason for this is so you don't end up with a hand full of Gadgets while you're waiting to draw something you really need. The star of the Ratbox is, essentially, Giant Rat. He searches almost anything you could ever need at any time for any reason. I've splashed Marauding Captain for a quick swing of field presence, and Mystic Swordsman LV 2 takes care of pesky face-downs. Ancient Gear Beast allows you to put your field presence to good use, while the Beast lineup of three Berserk and two Blade Rabbit complement your Green Baboon. Blade Rabbit also has excellent synergy with Book of Moon. Morphing Jar and Card Trooper are here to help Draw and mill out monsters for Gigantes, and Snipe rounds out the lineup by making good use of your Gadget searches.

Your Spells are also a veritable toolbox. The random Reinforcement and D.D. Reincarnation are excellent to surprise your opponent with. Next, two Foolish allow you to kick cards such as Green Baboon out of your Deck in order to use their massive power more efficiently. Pot of Avarice can recycle your searchers and any used-up cards you still need, while Nobleman and Book of Moon go hand in hand with Mystic Swordsman. the rest is your standard fare: Monster Reborn, MST, Heavy Storm, and Card Destruction.

Your Traps are very basic and very consistent with this theme.
Mirror Force, Torrential, and Trap Dustshoot all check in for their field and hand crippling powers, and Sakuretsu Armor is the most consistent lineup following those.
The Side Deck basically gives you additional options based on what Deck type you happen to be facing. You can adjust it to best fit your style of play.

Hope this answer helps. Happy Dueling!!!

    question:

Should I buy Crystal beast deck ?
i have already got a rainbow dragon and i was wonering wether to get the rest of the set or i might sell the dragon and buy a master dragon knight, blue eyes ultimate and 5 head dragon god.

    what should i do ????????

    answer:

rainbow dragon is one of the best trading materials out there. every one of my decks aside from my traditional deck are 90% commons and rares. it doesnt take a shiny card to win.

crystal beast decks are decent, but know that they have to be destroyed for them to be sent to the spell/trap zone. They have to be attacked, or destroyed by a card effect. they are completely useless against stall decks, and some burn decks just kill them way too fast. I personally would never go with a crystal beast deck. if you want a kind of deck where all the cards were meant to go together, I would either go with alien or gladiator beasts. If you choose not to go with one of those deck types, I do have a very interesting deck type listed below:

Burn deck: 45 cards (which is a great number by the way)
    TRAPS: 16
    3 bad reaction to simochi
    3 gift card
    1 gravity bind
    3 judgment of Anubis
2 seven tools of the bandit
    2 appropriate
    1 magic cylinder
    2 dimension wall
    2 disturbance strategy

OPTIONAL: you can take out some of the cards that make your opponent draw cards (including disturbance strategy) and instead focus a little more on bad reaction to simochi, but dark cure is a little more expensive. you can probably get the eye of truth at some vintage stock store for 5 cents.)
3 dark cure. it's from the new game, the same one as nurse reficule.
2 the eye of truth (this card is really old and not so popular. it's set number is PSV-010 in case you have trouble finding it.
with not being able to draw as many cards, you'll also need more defense:
    spirit reaper
    mirror force
    sakuretsu armor
and mask of restrict work really well. but again the cards are a bit more expensive/harder to find.

    MAGIC: 16
    3 messenger of peace
    1 lvl limit area B
3 upstart goblin (they are no longer limited to 2)
    2 lightning vortex
    3 magical mallet
2 emergency provisions (for when your spell/trap card zone get a little too cluttered)
2 dragged down into the grave (makes them draw, and handy if you get your hand down to 1 card)

    MONSTERS: 13
    3 destiny hero - defender
2 stone statue of the aztecs
    2 chainsaw insect
3 a cat of ill omen
    2 stealth bird
    1 marshmallon

This deck might not look like much, but trust me... it's some massive burn damage. I also checked in to how hard certain cards are to get, which is why wave-motion cannon isnt in there. I have more than 18 pounds of commons (I weighed them one day), and I only ever found one. so while I have it in MY deck, whenever I post the deck design somewhere, I take it out. if you have one, put it in there.

MORE ADVICE: Any deck with Blue eyes ultimate has been beaten, maimed, and ended up crawling away barely alive from this deck. Either go with crystal beasts, or try out a deck like this one. Aliens are awesome too, and not just because I'm a star-trek fan.

    GOOD LUCK ^_^ ,, /

    answer:

Looking through the list I noted you do have some very good cards. Perhaps you could sort them out by type or attribute? A deck is a series of cards that have something in common. A deck will have a specific goal and a means to an end (i.e.victory condition). For an Exodia deck this will be getting all the piece of Exodia and for a Final Countdown deck it will be making sure count reaches zero.

I think a good start would be to buy a deck from the shops (i.e. a structure deck) an them combine it with some of your own cards. Obviously you want a deck that you feel happy with using, but what deck that is will be for you to discover on your own. I could give suggestions but you might not agree with them. What you should do it is try out different combinations of cards and see which ones are able to function together effectively.

Every player started out with just a mass of random cards. As you gain experience you will come up with better ideas, and losing isn't a bad thing because it shows you where you can improve. All of my suggestions are part of a long journey that took me to where I am today.

    answer:

I'm assuming your theme is to bounce and return your oppenents cards. In this case, I would be running razia, mystical knight jackel and phoenix wing blast.
and trust me lowering your deck count to 40 is a good idea, also lessining your traps would be a smart move, now that cards like jinzo returner and jinzo lord have hit america you need to be wise when dealing in tournaments. Gaurdian sphinx is ok but not the greatest thing in the world because he can easily be destroyed by having to wait a turn to flip him back down, I would also suggest running two book of moons because of this and a morphing jar to get rid of cards you bounced. Perhaps even mind crushes would be good too, but it's all personal prefference, let me know how it works out when it's done! Ive been thinking about basing a deck around bouncing for a while now.

Good luck, and happy dueling :]

    question:

How good is my Jinzo-Horus Lockdown Deck?
i built a Jinzo-Horus Lockdown Deck on yugioh online 3. Its not the greatest but its a good start, i really need some suggestions from you guys on what cards i should get. Here is the Deck Recipe

    MONSTERS(22)
    1-Luster Dragon
    1- Morphing Jar
1- Stone Statue of the Aztecs
    3- Jinzo's
    1- King's Knight
    1- Beserk Gorilla
    3- Horus LVL 4
    3- Horus LVL 6
    2- Horus LVL 8
    1- Chainsaw Insect
    3- Destiny Hero Defender's
    1- Black Veloci

    SPELLS(15)
    2- Axe Of Despair
    1- Swords Of Revealing Light
    1- Brain Control
    1- Mystical Space Typhoon
    1- Soul Exchange
    1- Creature Swap
    3- Ground Collapse
    2- Lightning Vortexes
    1- Stray Lambs
    2- Level Up

    TRAPS(4)
    1- widespread ruin
    1- negate attack
    1- needle ceiling
    1- Malfunction

so tell me suggestions and what you think of the deck?

    answer:

No offense, but your deck doesn't really make a lot of sense. If you intend to use Horus and Jinzo to lock down your opponent, then it's best to use cards that support them, not cards that are there because you want them to.

Now, if you want a Horus/ Jinzo Lockdown, here's what you need:

    Monsters:
    3x Horus lvl 6
    2x Horus lvl 8
    3x Jinzo
    3x Masked Dragon
    2x Armed Dragon lvl 3
    2x Armed Dragon lvl 5
    1x Armed Dragon lvl 7
    1x Marshmellon
    1x Cyber Dragon
    1x Prime Material Dragon
    1x Spirit Reaper

    Spells:
    2x Mausoleum of the Emperor
    2x Level Up!
    2x Level Modulation
    2x Book of Moon
    2x Stamping Destruction
    1x Monster Reborn
    2x Soul Exchange
    1x Pot of Avarice

    Traps:
    2x Bottomless Trap Hole
    2x Trap Stun
    2x Dimensional Prison

    Analysis:
Horus is there for spell negation, Jinzo is there for trap negation, and Armed Dragon destroys monsters on your opponent's side of the field. Masked Dragon thins your deck and allows you to get out Armed lvl 3 so it can lvl up during your standby phase. Mausoleum and Soul exchange allow you to summon them easily, Pot of Avarice sends back any monsters in your grave to your deck. This way you can easily get lockdown your opponent, and they will have a difficult time fighting back.

    Hope this helps!

    answer:

Most of the cards in this deck are legal, cept for these Spells:
    Brain Control
    Premature Burial
    Pot of Greed

Other than that, you are are good to go!
Ps. I'm not trying to offend you or anything, but this deck isn't really tournament material. I still think you should still go and find out what kind of decks people are running, and then try to make something like that. Remember have fun!
    Hope I helped!!!1!!!1!!! :D :D :D
